Grail Homes is a family owned business, operated by Detroit natives who still spend much of their time operating in the city of Detroit. At Grail Homes, our team is highly motivated, knowledgeable, ethical, and resourceful. ERIC FRIDAY

OWNER

Eric founded GRAIL HOMES formerly known – DET Property Solutions in 2015, but his real journey in real estate investing began in 2014. At the time, Eric was working as an engineer and was looking for new ways to build wealth and achieve financial freedom. That’s when he discovered the POWER of REAL ESTATE INVESTING. He invested thousands of dollars and plenty of time in his education to learn more about real estate. In 2015, he purchased his first house from a tax auction for only $1100! It was a small 2 bed 1 bath 700 sq ft property, but it taught him invaluable lessons about rehabbing and managing contractors. Throughout the year, he worked hard to rehab the property, and it has since become a successful rental property generating over $50,000 in rental income with very minimum expenses, repairs, and maintenance. From there, he continued to expand his portfolio by wholesaling properties, buying and flipping, and acquiring more rentals. In 2020, He was laid off from his job, which gave him the opportunity to pursue real estate investing full time. And in 2021, he and his partners acquired a 52-unit apartment complex in Royal Oak, Michigan, which was a huge milestone in his journey.

JAMIEL STRICKLAND

MARKETING

Jamiel is a successful real estate investor, who has overcome significant challenges to build an impressive portfolio of properties.

Growing up, Jamiel never lived in a home that his family owned, but he was determined to change that through real estate investing.


After earning a scholarship to attend The University of Michigan-Dearborn, he graduated with a degree in Economics and a minor in business administration. With the guidance of mentors who emphasized the importance of home ownership and generational wealth, he took his first steps into real estate investing.


In his first year after graduating, Jamiel purchased a single-family rental property on the west side of Detroit, followed by a duplex where he lived on one side, and rented out the other to past basketball players from his college. These early investments set the stage for his future success in real estate.


Today, Jamiel together with Eric Friday, and partners, own a 52-unit apartment complex in Royal Oak, Michigan that was purchased for $5.6 million. He is proud to be the first person in his immediate family to own a home and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others.

TORI WAHID

Tori is a thriving real estate investor, who not just dreamt for success but also work for it.
Tori worked at a mortgage company for 7 years as a closing processor. She bought her first home at the age of 25, which allowed her to set her foot into real estate.


In pursuit of profitable opportunities, she sold her first house and bought another house for cash which allowed her to have access of living with no mortgage or rent. As a real estate investor, Tori had closed numerous of wholesale deals, she has flipped homes and is currently building her rental portfolio.
